Hair should not be a complicated thing to understand. However, it is one of the most popular things that we try and maintain, protect, but also flaunt. I have bleached, dyed, chopped, donated, and burned my hair many times. However, I have an average of half an inch of hair growth a month. I have donated 8+ inches twice in the same year.... I want people to know what just because this works for me, doesn't mean it will work for everyone. Here are my secrets:

Products

Shampoo & Conditioner >> Matrix Biolage

Leave in >> TeaTree Moisturizer by Paul Mitchell

Leave in >> Caviar CC Cream 10-in-1 Complete Correction

Heat Protectant >> Bed Head TIGI Control Freak

Brush >> WetBrush

TIPS

-I try to avoid heat as much as I can. The temperatures we use on our hair literally pulls all the oils out of it (which we naturally need) as well as strips real and natural pigments making it look dull. Try to use a good heat protectant when using any heat. EVEN a blow dryer.

-I try to get a split end cut at least every other month. I know how to do it to myself, but even going in somewhere quick, just get the tips removed. A split end actually effects the whole strand of hair!

-Get a silk pillow case. It is better for the friction of your hair on the pillow while you sleep.

-Take multivitamins. NOT just biotin! Get all of your vitamins in your system! This is good for everything.

-Do not OVERBRUSH. This can cause excessive split ends as well.
